Experience

I have homeschooled my 5 children for 20 years, and tutored other children for the last 10 years. I have also taught high school Biology, Physics, and Advanced Grammar, as well as High School math such as Algebra 1, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, and Geometry in a private school for 4 years.

Hobbies

I lived in Northern Colorado for 30 years, but recently moved down to the beautiful Colorado Springs area this summer. I love gardening and reading. My heart goes out, though, to students who are struggling, especially in math and science. I have tutored and taught students who started out disliking math or science, and they ended up liking it. After all, who likes something that seems so hard to understand? My goal is to give students the help they need so they can start succeeding in areas where they struggle. Once they see they can do it, their attitude slowly changes. That's what I love to see.
